Turning Point is providing face to face training day for RCGP Part One Certificate in the Management of Alcohol Problems in Primary Care Level 1 for professionals working in Shared Care.
N.B. Part One to the RCGP Certificate in the Management of Alcohol Problems is ideal for GPs working at a generalist level, as part of a shared care scheme and for those wanting to improve their understanding of alcohol related problems in Primary Care and equip yourself with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage them. The Part One course is multi-disciplinary so pharmacists, nurses, drug workers and other healthcare professionals can complete the certificate. This course is made up of two sections and is equivalent to 9 CPD hours.
If you wish to qualify for the Part One Certificate of Completion you must complete and pass the e-learning module, “RCGP Certificate in the Management of Alcohol Problems in Primary Care” and attend one of the following local face to face training events. Both sections must be completed within a 6 month period.

It is advisable to complete the e-module before the face to face training day.
If you have never registered with the RCGP you will first need to register in order to have access to the emodule.
Once you have completed the e-module you will be able to access a copy of the emodule certificate. Notification will automatically be sent to the SMAH administrative team to confirm that you have completed it.
