Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) Public Health Team

OCC currently commission the following services from Community Pharmacy:

Supervised Consumption

SWOP (Needle Exchange)

Take Home Naloxone 

EHC

Condom Distribution

Pharmacies can support the Condom “Safety Card” scheme by signing up to be a distribution and registration site.  For more information contact OutreachEnquiries@ouh.nhs.uk.

These services are commissioned from those pharmacies on the “Dynamic Approved Provider List (DAPL)” and who have signed the Public Health Services Contract.

To join the DAPL the process is as follows:

  • Go to the South East Portal at https://sebp.due-north.com/
  • Select “Opportunities”
  • Under Organisations select “Oxfordshire County Council”
  • Then click “DAPL Reopening – Healthcare Services – i-1428” and follow the instructions

The LPC recommends that all pharmacies register with this portal to receive notification of any tender or APL opportunities which may be relevant.
