REACT MH Train the Trainer
9th January 2023 13.30-16.00
Online
As part of a pilot, NHSE&I are looking for Trainers in the four Primary Care workforces across BOB ICS.
REACTMH is an evidence-based approach designed to increase confidence in initiating and holding supportive and compassionate mental wellbeing conversations using active listening skills.
Having better wellbeing conversations helps people to effectively deliver patient care and reduces the risk of longer term mental ill health.
Please note: REACTMH is designed to work within a tiered approach to mental health support as a complement to, not substitute for other training like Mental Health First Aid or TRiM.
Who Should Become a Trainer?
Those working in primary care with a general understanding of wellbeing/mental health who are looking to develop new skills and who would like to support others to have better wellbeing conversations within teams. We would ask for delivery of up to one 90 min REACTMH session per month (ideally). Experience of training is not essential.
The next Train the Trainer date (held virtually) is:
- Monday 9th of January 2023 (13:30pm – 16:00pm)
To register, please contact react.admin@nhs.net
If you’d like to ask any questions, please contact y.falase@nhs.net Health and Wellbeing Project Support Officer – Primary Care Pilot
What Happens Next?
Once registration has been confirmed, you will be sent joining instructions a couple of days before the session. Once completed you will be added to the existing pool of trainers and be supported with delivery.
