NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service

The expanded service enables pharmacists to initiate oral contraception, as well as continuing to provide ongoing management of oral contraception that was initiated in general practice or a sexual health clinic (or equivalent). Pharmacy owners need to provide both elements of the service. If you are already providing the ongoing management service, you will need to register for the expanded service (ie including initiation) on MYS.
