SPS Reference Group
The NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS), is setting up a reference group for Primary Care and Community Pharmacy. This will be a multi-organisational pharmacy-professional expert group, providing opinion and support to assist the development and maintenance of NHS SPS Primary Care and Community Pharmacy-related resources, to ensure they meet the needs of the users.
Members will support the development of resources by:
- Providing intelligence in their area of practice to local and national priorities and how that fits the landscape across the NHS
- Providing support and advice as requested to proposals for considered work programmes that SPS may wish to explore, and suggest priorities in line with local and national needs.
They welcome expressions of interest from Pharmacy Technicans and Pharmacists.
They intend to meet every month initially for the first 3 months to establish the group, then 2 monthly thereafter.
