NHS England South East – Showcasing Pharmacy Technician Careers are holding a virtual event, an opportunity to explore the breadth and impact of the pharmacy technician profession across a range of sectors.

This event brings together pharmacy technicians working in diverse roles to share their career journeys, offering insight into how the profession continues to evolve and contribute to patient care and service delivery. Through a combination of speaker sessions and interactive breakout discussions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities available to them, whether they are at the beginning of their career or considering their next step.

We are excited to be able to share the jam-packed agenda, with a range of speakers from different sectors and with different pharmacy technician careers. We will be offering a flexible agenda, which allows you to attend sessions of your choice.

A key feature of the event is the ability to tailor your experience through a series of breakout sessions. These sessions have been designed to showcase different areas of practice, including clinical roles, leadership and workforce development, education and training, and research and innovation. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to select the sessions most relevant to your interests, enabling you to create a personalised programme that supports your professional development.

The event is suited to pharmacy technicians at all stages of their career, as well as pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians and those exploring future career pathways within the profession. It aims to provide a space for reflection, learning and inspiration, supporting individuals to better understand how their role can develop within an increasingly integrated and patient-focused healthcare system.
