Flu Booking and Walk-In Availability in November 2025

National communications will continue through November to encourage people to come forward for flu and covid vaccinations, to drive up demand at a time when we typically see demand drop off. This is expected to generate media coverage and pharmacies should anticipate an increase in demand for clinics and walk-in appointments.

Please ensure you have added availability to the National Booking Service and added dates and times to walk-in finder via your NHS Profile Manager.

Pharmacy Flu Vaccination Service Finder Information

For AW25/26, the NHS website flu vaccination service finder features functionality to enable citizens to find a pharmacy that offers NHS flu vaccinations for:

• adults (aged 18 years and older)
• children (aged 2-3 years-old)

The service finder will also inform the public how they can access flu vaccination services by indicating 1 or more of the following access types for each pharmacy:

• walk-in service
• bookable via the national booking service
• bookable on pharmacy website
• bookable by phoning pharmacy customer telephone number

Child 2-3 years Flu Walk-In

If you are providing the Child 2-3 years flu vaccination service, please ensure you have added walk-in dates and times as this is a requirement under clause 4.11 of the Advanced Service Specification as copied below.

4.11 The pharmacy contractor must offer vaccinations through advertised walk-in clinics via the Pharmacy Services Finder:   Profile editor login – NHS. The pharmacy contractor must ensure the walk-in clinic times offered promote access to the service, including late afternoons and Saturdays (where the contractor is open on Saturdays).

NBS Capacity 25 December and 26 December

There are a large number of sites who have NBS availability for 25 December and 26 December.  If you are not providing the service on those dates, please remove the availability from MYA.  Guidance on how to do this can be found via this link: Manage Your Appointments guidance – NHS England Digital
