Let’s Talk About Vaccines

Let’s Talk About Vaccines is a training session from BOB ICB to help build confidence, skills and knowledge to open up discussions with patients about vaccination decisions.  This 2.5-hour online, interactive session is free to health, social care and voluntary sector staff across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.

How this training can support you in your role:

• Talking about vaccinations will help to support vaccine uptake, improve population health, and reduce demand for services.
• You will learn how to start conversations about the importance of flu, and other vaccinations.

The training will explore the issues, myths and barriers around vaccine hesitancy, providing you with the techniques and approaches to help people make informed choices. These can be used in your everyday contact with patients as an opportunity to discuss vaccine uptake.
