The forthcoming changes to the Pharmacy First clinical pathways, Patient Group Directions (PGDs) come into effect on Wednesday, 1st October 2025.

• IT system suppliers are planning to update their systems overnight on 30th September 2025 to reflect the new changes.
• Contractors are advised to verify that these updates have been successfully implemented on their individual systems before commencing use of the new pathways.
