World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness week – 18-24th November 2024

World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW), is being held from 18 to 24 November, and is led by the World Health Organization (WHO). Its goal is to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and promote best practices among the public, healthcare workers, and policymakers to prevent the spread of drug-resistant infections. Materials and a toolkit has been provided with quick and ready-to-use resources to support local World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) campaigns.
