Aactive D3 Colecalciferol Oral Drops – Product defect and recall

The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall for TriOn Pharma’s Aactive D3 2000iu/ml supplements due to excess levels of Vitamin D3. Community pharmacies must check their stock and follow the updated guidance as of 9th January 2025. There is concern that patients in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West have been affected.  The alert from the FSA provides necessary details and includes a food recall alert poster.
