Register for COVID-19 and adult influenza vaccination programmes: 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027
Community Pharmacy England will be holding a webinar in collaboration with NHS England about the new Seasonal Vaccination Service on Wednesday 21st January at 7.30pm. The new Advanced service covers the provision of both seasonal vaccinations (COVID-19 and adult flu) in community pharmacy for the 2026/27 season.
The webinar will explain how the service will operate, how to register for it ahead of the COVID-19 spring vaccination campaign and help community pharmacy owners as they prepare to provide it.

We previously wrote to you to advise that the service specifications for the COVID-19 and Influenza Seasonal Vaccination Programmes for 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027 have been published, along with a letter for providers which summarises the key changes to the service specifications.

To participate in Spring 2026 and offer COVID-19 vaccination, primary care providers must opt into the 2026/2027 advanced service, in which you are agreeing to offer both COVID-19 and flu vaccinations when relevant to do so over the course of 2026-2027. Those that do so before 2 February 2026 can expect to be ready to vaccinate at the start of the Spring COVID-19 2026 season. The Spring COVID-19 vaccination programme will run from 13 April 2026 and end on 30 June 2026. Please read the documents in full before registering for the service.
How to Sign Up
Each Community Pharmacy opting in to participate in the Community Pharmacy Service Specification COVID-19 and Adult Influenza Vaccination programmes: 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 (per http://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/service-specification-community-pharmacy-seasonal-vaccination…) must opt in via a national MS Form This must be completed before 2 February 2026 for the commencement of the Spring 2026 programme. This form can be used to opt in until 31 March 2026, however you will not receive vaccine from the start of the campaign. From 1 April 2026, opt in will be available through the NHSBSA’s MYS portal
