Ask for ANI (Action Needed Immediately)

The Ask for ANI codeword scheme enables victims of domestic abuse to discreetly request immediate help from the police or other support services from the safety of their local pharmacy.  Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, ability, socio-economic status, sexuality or background. This is why pharmacies, used by people from all walks of life, are being invited to volunteer to take part in this important initiative.

As part of the scheme, you will be required to ensure staff are familiar with the training information provided. The training resources include a short video and two guidance documents on adopting the scheme and responding to the codeword.
